A sketch for a tentatively planned series of prints based on the works of writer H.P. Lovecraft, Photoshopped to give me a better idea of what this image would look like as a woodcut print.
The drawing on the left is the original drawing and the one on the right inverted as it would look roughly as a woodcut. I never get overly detail in my woodcut pre-sketches, I much rather work out the details as the wooden board demands it.
